Privacy Policy
Last updated: 28 October 2026
QRazyQR (“we”, “us”, or “our”) publishes the website qrazyqr.com, a free QR code generator. This policy explains what happens to information when you use the site.
The generator does not receive your QR content
Every QR code is built in your browser with JavaScript. The URL, text, WiFi name, WiFi password, email, phone number, or vCard you type is encoded on the device you are using. It is not sent to qrazyqr.com, and we have no account to attach it to. We do not keep a copy of the codes you download. If you close the tab, we have nothing to recover.
The generator does not write that content to browser local storage or to a cookie of ours. Color, size, and error correction are not saved either. Reload the page and they return to the defaults baked into the page: charcoal on white, 512 pixels, and error correction M. The URL box starts again at https://qrazyqr.com because that sample value is in the HTML, not because we stored your last edit.
Advertising and cookies
Google AdSense is loaded on the homepage and on the guide articles. It is not loaded on this privacy policy, the terms of service, the about page, or the contact page. Where AdSense is loaded, Google and its partners may use cookies, including the advertising cookie, to serve and measure ads based on your visits to this site and other sites.
- You can opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings.
- You can opt out of some third-party vendor cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info/choices (or youronlinechoices.eu if you are in Europe).
How Google uses data from sites that use its services is described at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. We do not sell personal information.
Other requests your browser makes
- Google Fonts. Pages load the Inter typeface from Google. That request reveals your IP address to Google, the same way any font or image host would. It is separate from the QR payload.
- jsDelivr. Only the homepage loads the open-source QR encoder from the jsDelivr CDN. Guide, about, contact, privacy, and terms pages do not load that script. The encoder runs locally after it is downloaded. Your payload is not part of the CDN request.
- Google AdSense. Homepage and guides only, as described above.
We do not run our own analytics package, and we do not ask you to create an account.
Your choices (GDPR and CCPA)
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have rights to access, correct, or erase personal data we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Because the generator does not transmit QR content to us, the personal data we are likely to hold is whatever you choose to put in an email.
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information is collected and to opt out of its sale. We do not sell personal information. The generator transmits no QR payload to us.
For a privacy request, email contact@qrazyqr.com. The address is also on the contact page: contact@qrazyqr.com.
Children
QRazyQR is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version is posted on this page with a new date. The generator’s basic promise — your QR payload is encoded locally — will stay true unless this page says otherwise in plain language.
