Terms of Service

Last updated: 28 October 2026

By using qrazyqr.com (“QRazyQR”, “the site”), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

The service

QRazyQR is a free QR code generator that runs in your browser. You may use the codes you generate for personal or commercial purposes. The codes are static: the payload is written into the symbol itself. We do not host a redirect, we do not count scans, and we do not keep a copy of what you encoded. A code you have already downloaded keeps working even if this website is later unavailable. We also cannot switch a downloaded code off, because we never stored it.

You are responsible for testing a code before you print it, post it, or rely on it. A static symbol does not expire, but the page, phone number, or WiFi password it points at can change. If you change a password or a URL, reprint the code.

No warranty

The site is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Scanners, phones, and printers differ. A code that reads on one device can fail on another, especially at low contrast, at a small print size, or with a damaged quiet zone.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, QRazyQR and its operator are not liable for any loss or damage arising from use of the site or from codes generated with it, including a wrong destination, a WiFi password that was encoded as typed, a print run that does not scan, or a third-party page a code opens. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

Acceptable use

Do not use QRazyQR to create codes that point to content that is illegal, that infringes someone else’s rights, or that is intended to deceive a person into handing over credentials, payment details, or access. Phishing that uses a QR code is still phishing. Because we do not host or review generated codes, we cannot take one down after you have downloaded it. You are the publisher of any code you distribute. The safety guide describes how to check a code you did not create.

Advertising

The homepage and the guide articles may show advertising from Google AdSense. The about page, the contact page, this terms page, and the privacy policy do not load the AdSense script. Where ads are shown, Google may use cookies as described in the privacy policy. Using the site means you understand that those pages may display ads.

Intellectual property

The QRazyQR name, the text of the guides, and the design of this site belong to the site operator. The QR encoder loaded on the homepage is separate open-source software (qrcode-generator). QR symbols themselves follow a public ISO standard. The codes you generate are yours to copy, print, and publish. Do not present the site as yours, and do not copy the guides onto another site and pass them off as your own.

Changes

We may update these terms by posting a new version on this page with a new date. Continuing to use the site after the date changes means you accept the updated terms. The date at the top is the one that counts.
